Pangaia is a materials science company, which brings together scientists, technologists and designers that create essential products from innovative tech and bio-engineered materials. In addition, they create products with smart technology and make use of as many sustainable & recyclable elements as possible. This is achieved using bio-based, recycled fibres and materials made from recycled plastic bottles. They also provide a combination of natural botanical dyes made from natural sources such as plants, with innovative antibacterial peppermint to stay fresh for longer periods of time.


Mud Jeans aim is to change the fashion industry and make good quality, ethical jeans available to more people. Every garment comes back to the brand and gets recycled. Repairs are provided for free and the customers can keep their jeans for as long as they want, with a repair service provided for free. Alternatively they can swap for a new pair after the one-year rental term is completed. By the end of 2019 the brand had saved 550 million litters of water, avoided 1.500.000 Kgs of CO2 and saved 20.000 jeans from landfill and incineration.


A Fashion brand born and raised in Amsterdam. The brand is inspired by the vintage movies, collector’s items and iconic women from the earlier days. Fabienne Chapot focuses on transparency, materials and social responsibility. Polyester items are made from recycled PET bottles. The brand has banned non-animal friendly products like real fur, angora, mohair, exotic skins and real down feathers. As well they use also organic cotton that without the use of chemical fertilizers is less harmful for the soil. The items in their store are labelled with a green leaf.


House of Sunny brand focus on sustainability, accountability and transparency and creates quality garments, which last and can be worn season after season. Moreover, all products are vegan without leather, down, feathers, exotic skins, mohair, mulesing, wool or angora. SS’20 garment bags are 100% biodegradable and are plastic-free and made from 100% compostable bio-based films, leaving no toxic chemicals behind, just like organic waste. SS’20 are made from recycled polyester (water bottles) meaning the full garment and packaging made from 100% recycled fabrics.


Ecoalf brand use the recycled fabrics and more than 200 million tons of plastic bottles recycled so far. In the majority of processes, Ecoalf uses mechanical recycling - the most sustainable form of recycling. In terms of energy consumption and CO2 emissions, the production of a recycled material thread has a much lower impact compared with the conventional thread. Currently, six parameters are used to determine the sustainability of a material: 1_Energy consumption/CO2 emissions. 2_Use of water. 3_Use of the ground. 4_Use of chemical products. 5_Relationship with biodiversity. 6_Production of solid residues.


The Son of a Tailor is clothing-tech company, making custom fitted garments using innovative process to eliminate waste in clothes production. Brand doesn’t do mass production that means no stock, no sales, no unsold clothing ending up in landfills. If a garment is not needed, it doesn’t get made. Mother of Pearl is a luxury sustainable womenswear brand that celebrates individuality, authenticity and sustainability. The brand makes clothes from organic and natural materials, with a transparent supply chain, putting social responsibility, respect to animals and low-environmental impact first and foremost. For the summer of 2020 only 5% of their fabrics were synthetic and only used where absolutely necessary. They work very hard to keep their cutting as tight as possible, not only to ensure they reduce their footprint but to also minimise costs.


All Peony pieces are made entirely from recycled and sustainable fabrications; this includes all printed fabrics, custom main fabrics and inner linings. Peony develops its own custom sustainable fabrications and textile prints in-house exclusively, proving sustainability is aligned with luxury. For printed fabrics, they use fabric made from ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon made from abandoned fishing nets and nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world. For resort wear, brand focus is on natural fibres, such as organic cotton, hemp and linen, complimented by innovative sustainable fabrications such as EcoVero, which is derived from wood pulp and certified by EU Ecolabel for environmental excellence.


Bohempia is a young, sustainable, innovative and fast-growing company producing shoes, apparel and accessories made from hemp. Hemp needs 50% less water to grow than cotton. It is less damaging to soil and needs less land to grow. Hemp material is antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking, naturally thermo regulating and super strong. The brand process starts with raw hemp fiber that is spinned, weaved, knitted and dyed for production. After designed, prototyped, fitted and tested shoes, clothing and accessories in their Prague studio.


KnowledgeCotton Apparel inspiration comes from the great environmental challenges facing humanity. The brand works with sustainable materials and fibers means that workers should not be exposed to any harmful chemicals, dye stuffs or processes on any level of the production chain.The brand is a carbon neutral certified company from 2019. The suppliers are third-party certified by SA8000, BSCI and Fairtrade, which independently monitor the social labour situations in the factories and on the cotton fields.
