ABOUT ME

Fashion is my passion, and unfortunately the fashion industry is one of the most wasteful industries in the world. We tend to buy more clothes and wear them much less before disposing them, even if they’re in perfect condition. The worst part is that most of our clothes end up in landfill, even though we could easily reuse or recycle them.

The mission behind BeDressedWisely is to build environmentally and socially conscious consumers and to learn to how to Reduce - Reuse - Recycle of your own clothes. In doing so, extending the life of the things we own, our aim is to get rid of “throw-away culture”.

​

My background, is that I hold an MD on Environmental Engineering Studies and my past work experience in the Ministry of Environment in Lithuania, handling the waste prevention program, and currently living in the beautiful island of Cyprus.

Through the BeDresedWisely website and social media, I will be sharing my knowledge, expertise and ideas how we can all as individuals contribute in protecting the environment whilst still keeping our passion for fashion!
